We learn from each other about the natural world surrounding us and cover a wide range of wildlife subjects.

In the summer we go on informative walks and in the winter invited speakers cover a variety of natural history subjects.

The co-ordinator welcomes help from the members.

Between last October and this March we enjoyed a thought provoking quiz; heard how Eskdale wildlife coped during Lockdown; learnt about rare fungi in the Kendal area; saw stunning macro photography of Cumbrian moths and butterflies; were treated to a brilliant talk about the work of the Kendal College Wildlife Rehab Unit and finished the programme with an in-depth talk about the reintroduction of Pine Martens to Cumbria.

Why not  join us (sign in as visitors) at any of our next winter talks!
