The group will introduce members to Crown Green Bowling and provide the opportunity for competitive play. Some coaching is available for those who are new to the sport.
The only equipment needed are flat soled shoes (no open toes for safety's sake), waterproofs (if it is raining), and a small towel (like a bar towel) to dry bowls if it is wet.
The club has a limited supply of bowls and the club volunteers make theirs available for the meetings, if required.

New Crown Green Bowling season starts 31 March

Bowlers enjoy another excellent season
After another enjoyable season of U3A Crown Green Bowling the 2025 season has now ended. The group will start up again sometime in March 2026 - depending on the weather and green condition. If anyone is interested in joining the Crown Green Bowling group please contact Malcolm Booker.
