12 members of the SLu3a Social Cycling Group 1 set off from Kendal on a chilly but bright morning, 5 on ebikes, all pleased to be out after a very wet spell. We soon warmed up and enjoyed wonderful views as we cycled to St Mary’s Church in Longsleddale for our refreshment break. We then carried on to Sadgill (see photo) before turning back along the valley to Garnett Bridge, the Potter Fell Road and on to Wilfs for a light lunch and plenty of good conversation before returning to Kendal. All in all, a wonderful day out.
