In April SLu3a Amblers 3 group enjoyed a sunny walk around Newbiggin Craggs, Holme Fell and Farleton Fell, some of the best limestone pavement in the country. Leader Mike Warren shared his extensive knowledge of the geology and plant life of the area including descriptions of the yhree different ages of limestone present.
