It was a busy morning at Kendal Leisure Centre today with over 350 people attending the South Lakes u3a Open Morning. Most of out 70 plus Groups were represented with group members on hand to chat about their groups and programmes for this year. Visitors chatted over tea and coffee and a couple of our music groups provided some background entertainment.

We were pleased to welcome Kendal Mayor, Cllr Helen Ladham who showed interest in what South Lakes u3a has to offer to people no longer working full time.
