If you are happy to walk between 3 and 4 miles on footpaths, tracks and lanes with gentle ups and downs and occasionally a number of stiles, why not join our friendly Strollers group?

We start at 10.30am, stop approximately halfway for a ˜flask coffee stop" /snack and afterwards for those who wish, head to a nearby cafe or pub.

Strong shoes or boots, a waterproof seat mat and walking poles are often useful.

We encourage and support members to lead walks within a 20 mile radius of Kendal but if you just prefer to come and walk as part of the group that is also fine. We go to some lovely places and you would be most welcome.

A small voluntary donation in our Kendal Mountain Search & Rescue Team charity box each walk is much appreciated.
