Samantha Ridgway (Chair) and others from the group were promoting South Lakes u3a at the Dementia Awareness Day at Beetham Garden Centre, last Wednedsay (17 September). During the morning Councillor Richard Sutton, Mayor of Kendal, chatted to the group to talk about the benefits of u3a membership and volunteering.
